time flies when you're having fun!

Scott's headed back, as I type, from the Floridan.  After all of the travel delays he went through getting there he was able to get some good work done. It's been really cold here at home... so it was good that he journeyed down south.  Thankfully, the next two days should be warm enough to unfreeze the ground so he can continue playing once he returns home.  It's hard to believe but we leave on Wednesday!
Talk about a short off season!

Scott's sport psychologist, Dr. Rob Bell, will be coming down for the next couple of days as well.  They will try to get a solid few days in of work before the season begins.

In the next couple of days we have to clean out our storage unit (we have it since we're trying to sell our condo).  We weren't the wisest because when we packed it... we didn't think about having to get summer things out so quickly.  So, it looks like I have a fun next two days pulling everything out and reorganizing it's contents.  Fun, fun.... ugh!

We also have to get packed for the next several weeks and multiple climates.  Once we leave, we will be gone through the end of February.  I've been told that I need to go find some rain boots before we go to Pebble Beach.  I'm not going to lie... that's not the glamours thoughts I had in my mind!

We head out Wednesday but make a stop in Texas before heading to Hawaii.
Our good friends Martin Piller and Gerina Medoza are getting married in Dallas on January 8th! Scott and I are both super excited for them and are excited to be a part of their special day! They are two awesome people and we can't wait to see what plan God has planned for them in their crazy, crazy life ahead!

I can't sign off without giving a shout out to our sweet niece.  Today is her 1st birthday!
Happy Birthday Vivie!

Merry Christmas, travel delays.

As I sit in my warm, snow covered condo, Scott is stuck sitting in the Knoxville airport.  He has been there since 3:30.  Scott, his coach, and his coach's wife planned to fly out of here at 5pm today.  They are going from here to Atlanta, Atlanta to West Palm Beach.
Well... Knoxville has no delays but Atlanta has no room for planes to land.  So... they have to sit and wait in Knoxville for their clearance to land before they can even take off!
Scott claims that he's coach has the worst luck traveling (major delays joining us in CA earlier this year, stuck in STAND STILL traffic for 7+ hours going to Tour Championship...etc.).
Scott says he will never travel with them again! :)

They will be practice (and stay) out of the Floridian which is an hour + outside of West Palm.
At least he will be able to practice... if he can ever get there!

We hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas! We are so thankful for the time we could spend with both families (Stallings and Whites) today. We are so blessed.

Check out the Pictures tab for some pictures from the last couple of days.

Scott heads to Florida tomorrow to begin a LONG few days of practice with his coach, Brad Rose.  It's is an understatement to say that he's excited.

We are home! Most of our work is complete for the next few days and it’s time to enjoy the holiday season! We had a wonderful time in Jamaica.
Scott begins playing again tomorrow. It’s time now to sit back and enjoy friends and family!
Scott will head to Florida on the 26th to begin practicing hard to get ready for the first PGA (<--- crazy?!? huh) event in Hawaii!

Talk about a RUSH!

Just breathe, just breathe...

Wow! We are so excited and so thrilled but MAN! We have a ton of stuff to get done.
Scott and I leave Sunday early for Jamaica (which we are beyond excited about).

Before we leave he has to get everything settled for 2010 and get things set for 2011. Scott will be home tonight, he's been in orientation for the last two days in Orlando, and will hit the ground running on Thursday. Meetings, interviews, paperwork... etc.
One of my best friends is getting married this weekend so I've got all that stuff to do.
When we finally get to Jamaica I'm sure we will crash!

We will be leaving for the season in less that a month.
We are busy but it's all things that we've always wanted.

Round 2 complete

Well... we are about to be right smack in the middle of qualifying school.  I cannot believe this time has come so quickly! Today Scott shot even par.  That puts him t40, currently two shots outside of the magic number.  A lot can happen with four more holes to go.  Pray for rest, rest, rest! This week is exhausting on everyone playing.
I am currently in the air (thanks to free wifi, Delta) and headed to Orlando.  Tomorrow will be my first day out on the course.  I'm anxious to be there and know what's going on.  Wish me luck though... I'll be in a house with six other guys!
Round 3 tee time 9:20
